"Lemonade" Trip - March 18 - 22, 2018

We were supposed to go to France March 17th-23rd, but Tony's tendon rupture precluded sitting for long periods... like 12 hours flights ...so we ended up cancelling the trip at the last minute.

Instead, we just did local trips, but still had a nice vacation.

On the Sunday the 18th, we went to exotic Durham and visited Almendra Winery for the first time. The food was very good, but the wines... no so much.

Om Tuesday, the 20th, we picked up the glasses Jhan had left at Almendra and had a nice lunch at Sierra Nevada Brewery.

Wednesday, the 21st, we drove down down to Amador, to do some wine tasting. It was pouring rain, so we had Holly's Hill and Miraflores to ourselves.

We had a nice lunch at Gold Vine Grill, and then went on to stay at Rest.

The next day, we finally visited Young's winery - a winery we'd passed dozens of times - and weren't impressed. We also had a very expensive cheese plate at Renwood (while a wild storm passed through),  a trip down to Yorba where we had a nice conversation at the winery, followed by dinner at Taste.
